2016 Trip #1 Springfield, CO 1/13 – 1/14, Me, Myself, and I

Went on a short trip to Springfield, CO to check out the prairie dogs and do some scouting.

They just had a foot of snow a week or so ago and it wasn’t completely melted and dry, YET! Not a lot of mud, but enough.

Did find a new ranch to shoot on in the spring and shot around 25 prairie dogs. The second day it got real windy, 25 + mph and cold, so headed on home.

Since I’m not going to the Shot Show thought I’d do a short trip.  Shot my 22 BR and 20 Practical at the few dogs that were up, not many.

At least I didn’t get stuck, I almost did, but managed to go through and  get out and around.
