2015 Trip #2

The prairie dogs were a little few and far between on the first day, we had hit this ranch several times the last year.  I shot my 223 Rem and 223 AI.  Most shots were at 200 yards and beyond on the first day.

The next day was a little better, a new ranch.  During this time of year mostly the males are above ground, the females are still below ground with their young.

Had a hard time finding lodging, the railroad and the pipe line people were in town.  We finally found a place to stay late at night and it was the very last room, at $75 a night I might add.

The next day we moved around to find a place to shoot.  It was a little cold but no wind.  For winter shooting I didn’t end up to bad for the three days, 175 dogs.
