Went on a two day trip shooting prairie dogs the 7th and 8th of June 2019.
The first day I used my 20 Practical with a Phoenix Weaponry suppressor all day. Friday wasn’t a real nice day. The wind blew 25 – 30 mph all day.
Saturday my 22 BR got the call after trying my 10/22 for a short time. The wind wasn’t as bad. It was to much for the 22 LR.
We got to the field late on Friday. So Saturday we went to another field but nothing was moving. They had been shot hard. We went back to the first field for the rest of that day.
Weather started moving in around 5:00 so we packed it up and headed back to Denver.
I shot a total of 157 for both days. But with the wind on Friday and the cooler weather on Saturday, I didn’t feel bad. Next trip I hope to do better.
