products I use
In this section I’ll talk about the shooting, hand-loading, and varmint equipment I use on a daily bases.
Hiperfire and their “Hipertouch 24” adjustable trigger for the AR15/10
I just didn’t have the time to get my AR working like I wanted until right before the trip. The trigger pull was really bad and the accuracy wasn’t very good. I picked up a trigger at the Shot Show from “Hiperfire” that ended up being the best thing I could have done. It’s called a Hipertouch 24 adjustable trigger for the AR15/10. It’s user adjustable by changing 3 sets of 2 springs. One set about 2 lbs, next set about 3 lbs, and the last set at around 4 lbs. I used the 2 lb set; I might change to the 3 lb set because it’s so good it might be a little light for an AR. It only took me about 10 minuets to change it out, but I was an Army Armor for a short time. I just read direction and looked at their website at: hiperfire.com.
The other problem I had was accuracy. It’s a Remington R15 that the Upper to Lower fit left a little to be desired. At the gun show right before I left I pick-up an “Accu-wedge” That is nothing more that a small piece of rubber that tightens the fit by installing it under the back takedown pin. My groups came down to a half to three quarters of an inch.
